Among those organizing on the ground are some friends of mine, guys and gals who have been around the block a few times and know from experience that we don't win these fights through magic, it takes hard work and perseverance. Hard work and perseverance requires food.
I sent two pizzas to the TAA offices for their 6:30 pm phone bank, where 25 volunteers will be manning the phones. They have another phone bank at the Madison Labor Temple where another 25 volunteers will be lighting up the phone lines as well. Who will match my contribution?
